attended the capitol hill block party last night. slender means, helio sequence (pictured), and band of horses were all fantastic. the mix left much to be desired, but it's pretty hard to get those things right at outdoor concerts.

got a chance to catch dresden dolls after that. my neighbor matthew has been raving about them, and for good reason. it was a very artsy, very well done show. definitely worth the long night of waiting. all in all, the experience was worth the trouble.
